Your CRM knows names, emails, and companies. It rarely knows where those people actually receive mail. Resolution fills that gap: it turns "Jane Doe at Acme" into a street address a carrier can deliver to. ## Why it matters Email needs an email address, and you always have one. Mail needs a postal address, and in B2B you usually do not. This is the quiet reason most teams never try direct mail: the channel looks blocked before it starts. Resolution is also where quality is decided. A wrong address does not bounce like an email.
