As of October 2026, Stannp charges per piece, with printing and postage included. A monthly plan is optional: $0 for Free, $12 for Starter, $48 for Growth, and $315 for Premium in the US. A 4x6 postcard costs $0.86 on Free at any volume, and $0.80 on Starter for a campaign of up to 999 pieces. The $0.53 postcard on Stannp's homepage needs both the Premium plan and a campaign of 50,000 pieces or more. A one-page color letter sent First-Class costs $1.29 on Free and $1.23 on Starter at small volumes.

![Four bars of the lowest 4x6 postcard price on each Stannp US plan: Free $0.86 at $0 a month, Starter $0.72 at $12, Growth $0.63 at $48, and Premium $0.53 at $315.](https://trysincerely.com/images/guides/stannp-pricing.webp)

*Stannp pricing reaches its advertised $0.53 postcard only on the $315-a-month Premium plan, in a single campaign of 50,000 pieces or more.*

The prices on this page come from Stannp's [US detailed pricing page](https://www.stannp.com/us/detailed-pricing), its [US pricing calculator](https://www.stannp.com/us/pricing), and its [UK detailed pricing page](https://www.stannp.com/uk/detailed-pricing), all read on October 25, 2026. The homepage table shows the lowest rate in each volume band without naming the plan that unlocks it. The detailed pricing page shows the full grid.

## Stannp's plan fees

All plans include the platform and have no minimum order. Your plan sets which volume discounts you can reach, how many people can log in, and whether you get the API.

| Plan | Billed monthly | Billed annually, per month | Users | API calls a minute | Webhooks | Lowest volume band it reaches |
| ---------- | -------------: | -------------------------: | --------- | ------------------ | --------- | ----------------------------- |
| Free | $0 | $0 | 1 | No API | None | None, one flat price |
| Starter | $12 | $10 | 1 | 300 | None | 1,000 to 9,999 |
| Growth | $48 | $40 | 5 | 600 | 2 | 10,000 to 49,999 |
| Premium | $315 | $262 | 15 | 2,000 | 4 | 50,000+ |
| Enterprise | Quote | Quote | Unlimited | 3,000 | Unlimited | Contracted |

The annual toggle says "Save 20%". The displayed prices work out to about 17%: Starter is $120 a year against $144 paid monthly. Free also lacks live mail tracking, the 24-hour production commitment, and phone or email support, all of which start at Starter. HIPAA compliance and an account manager start at Growth.

## US per-piece prices

Each price includes printing and postage. A higher plan pays the same as the plan below it until its own discount band begins. Each column shows a plan's price in the band where it stops falling.

| Format and mail class | Free, any volume | Starter, up to 999 | Starter, 1,000+ | Growth, 10,000+ | Premium, 50,000+ |
| ------------------------------------ | ---------------: | -----------------: | --------------: | --------------: | ---------------: |
| 4x6 postcard, Marketing Mail | $0.86 | $0.80 | $0.72 | $0.63 | $0.53 |
| 6x9 postcard, First-Class | $1.05 | $0.99 | $0.73 | $0.69 | $0.66 |
| 6x11 postcard, Marketing Mail | $0.99 | $0.93 | $0.84 | $0.75 | $0.71 |
| 6x11 postcard, First-Class | $1.28 | $1.22 | $1.13 | $1.04 | $1.00 |
| Color letter, Marketing Mail | $1.00 | $0.94 | $0.82 | $0.75 | $0.70 |
| Color letter, First-Class | $1.29 | $1.23 | $1.11 | $1.04 | $0.99 |
| Color letter, XL window, Marketing | $1.04 | $0.98 | $0.86 | $0.79 | $0.74 |
| Color letter, XL window, First-Class | $1.33 | $1.27 | $1.15 | $1.08 | $1.03 |
| 8.5x11 self-mailer, Marketing Mail | $1.39 | $1.33 | $0.99 | $0.83 | $0.79 |
| 17x11 self-mailer, Marketing Mail | $3.39 | $3.33 | $2.20 | $1.92 | $1.79 |

Letter prices are for one 8.5x11 page printed on one side in a #10 window envelope. In the calculator, the 4x6 postcard comes only as Marketing Mail, which Stannp says usually arrives in 7 to 14 business days. The 6x9 postcard comes only as First-Class, at 3 to 7 business days. Moving a letter from Marketing Mail to First-Class adds $0.29 at every band.

On Free, the price never moves, whatever the volume. In the small-campaign band, Starter saves $0.06 on every postcard and letter, so its $12 fee pays for itself at about 200 pieces a month. The bigger jump comes at 1,000 pieces, where a 6x9 postcard on Starter drops from $0.99 to $0.73.

Bands are likely set per campaign. Stannp's UK pricing page says so in its pricing details: "volume discount cannot be applied across multiple campaigns." The US page does not say either way, so ask before you plan around a monthly total.

Stannp also runs a Canadian site that lists prices in Canadian dollars. As of October 2026 it shows plans at C$22, C$90, and C$600 a month, and a 4x6 postcard at C$1.34 on Free and C$1.23 on Starter for small campaigns.

| Two more webhooks, Growth and Premium only | $10 a month |

The subscription add-ons in the bottom half of the table need at least the Starter plan. The $0.20 address charge comes from Stannp's [address verification page](https://www.stannp.com/us/address-verification), which says Stannp checks each address against USPS data and will still mail an unverified one for $0.20 extra. [ListBuilder](https://www.stannp.com/us/data-listbuilder) is Stannp's US list product, sourced from Data Axle, and needs no plan. In the calculator, printing on the back of a one-page letter added $0.08.

## UK prices, in pounds

Stannp started in the UK, and its UK pricing has a different shape. As of October 2026, the plans cost £0, £12, £48, and £315 a month, or £10, £40, and £262 a month billed annually. Every UK price excludes VAT.

| Format | Free, any volume | Starter, up to 3,999 | Starter, 4,000+ | Growth, 10,000+ | Premium, 50,000+ |
| ------------------------- | ---------------: | -------------------: | --------------: | --------------: | ---------------: |
| A6 postcard | £1.02 | £0.96 | £0.52 | £0.50 | £0.36 |
| A5 postcard | £1.04 | £0.98 | £0.52 | £0.48 | £0.41 |
| A5 enveloped postcard | £1.04 | £0.98 | £0.50 | £0.46 | £0.39 |
| Colour letter, one side | £0.88 | £0.82 | £0.48 | £0.44 | £0.38 |
| Colour letter, two sides | £0.90 | £0.84 | £0.50 | £0.46 | £0.40 |
| A3 letter folded to A5 | £1.14 | £1.08 | £0.80 | £0.70 | £0.60 |
| A5 greetings card, tabbed | £1.15 | £1.09 | £0.65 | £0.60 | £0.50 |

The two-sided letter does not follow the column headings. Its first discount starts at 2,500 pieces, so its Starter prices apply up to 2,499 and from 2,500. Every other UK format starts the discount at 4,000.

The UK discount arrives all at once. On Starter, 3,999 A6 postcards cost 3,999 × £0.96 = £3,839.04, and 4,000 cost 4,000 × £0.52 = £2,080.00. The page says mail must be "Royal Mail Admail compliant" to get the bulk prices. The calculator quotes Royal Mail delivery of postcards in 3 to 5 business days.

UK add-ons, also excluding VAT:

| Add-on | Price |

| One-page letter sent abroad | From £2.11 |

## What 500 letters a month costs

Pinecrest Field IT, a fictional IT services firm in Denver, mails 500 one-page color letters a month by First-Class Mail to operations leaders at mid-sized manufacturers. It builds the list in ListBuilder with two extra filters, for industry and headcount, and sends each month's letters as one campaign. At October 2026 prices on Starter:

1. Letters: 500 × $1.23 = $615.00. Five hundred falls in the up-to-999 band.
2. Plan fee: $12.00, or $10.00 billed annually.
3. List: 500 business records × $0.06 = $30.00, plus 500 × 2 filters × $0.01 = $10.00.
4. Addresses: if 20 records fail USPS matching and Pinecrest mails them anyway, 20 × $0.20 = $4.00.

The month comes to $671.00, about $1.34 a letter. On Free the letters cost 500 × $1.29 = $645.00, and the month comes to $689.00, so Starter saves $18.

Two changes move the total more than the plan does. Sending as Marketing Mail cuts the letters to 500 × $0.94 = $470.00 and the month to $526.00, but delivery stretches to 7 to 14 business days. Holding two months of letters for one 1,000-piece campaign drops the First-Class price to $1.11, so 1,000 letters cost $1,110.00 against $1,230.00 for two separate sends.

At this volume Growth and Premium charge the same per piece as Starter, because their own discounts begin at 10,000 pieces a campaign. For a 50,000-postcard campaign the plans pull apart: $43,000 on Free, $36,012 on Starter, $31,548 on Growth, and $26,815 on Premium, plan fee included. The guide to [direct mail cost](https://trysincerely.com/guides/direct-mail-cost) sets per-piece prices like these beside the data, design, and waste that a quote leaves out.

## What the pricing page leaves out

### You pay before you mail

Stannp's [terms of service](https://www.stannp.com/us/terms-of-service), last updated July 12, 2026, put a pay-as-you-go account on a prepaid balance funded by card before anything mails. Its [account API docs](https://www.stannp.com/us/direct-mail-api/account) say tax and any payment processing fees are calculated when you top up. Stannp agrees credit accounts, billed later, case by case.

### Prices can change at short notice

The terms let Stannp raise pay-as-you-go prices on 14 days' written notice. Subscription prices stay fixed for the subscription term, and Stannp gives 45 days' notice of a change. Stannp can still raise direct mail prices during a subscription on 14 days' notice when its production costs go up. Because postage sits inside each price, a USPS increase, such as the one covered in [USPS price changes](https://trysincerely.com/guides/usps-price-changes), would reach you as a Stannp price change rather than a separate postage line. If you cancel a subscription, any custom discount ends and prices revert to the standard rate card.

### Plan limits that bite

Free has no API access and allows 20 virtual printer items a month, so an integration starts at Starter. Webhooks start at Growth. Starter holds one user and ten design templates.

### The words and the list

The per-piece price covers printing and mailing. Every plan includes Stannp's designer, and Stannp quotes bespoke jobs such as booklets or multiple inserts by phone. You supply the list unless you buy ListBuilder records. No price on the page covers writing the copy. [Address verification explained](https://trysincerely.com/guides/address-verification-explained) covers what a USPS match does and does not tell you about a business address.

## When Stannp is the better choice

- You mail in the UK. From 4,000 pieces in a campaign, an A6 postcard costs £0.52 on a £12 plan with postage included.
- You send one design to thousands of US addresses. From 1,000 pieces in a campaign, a 4x6 postcard costs $0.72 on Starter, postage included.
- Your letters are already merged PDFs. [Virtual printing](https://www.stannp.com/us/virtual-printing) prints and dispatches them within one business day, and Starter includes 100 a month.
- You mail in irregular bursts. The Free plan has no fee and no minimum, so a quiet month costs nothing.
- You need a cold list of US businesses with the mailing. ListBuilder records cost $0.06 each.

[Stannp alternatives](https://trysincerely.com/alternatives/stannp) sorts the other options by why you would leave, and [Lob vs Stannp](https://trysincerely.com/compare/lob-vs-stannp) compares it with Lob's published rates.

## How Sincerely compares

Sincerely charges each piece in credits from one pool that covers printing, postage, writing, address verification, measurement, and operations. On Core monthly, $250 a month for 650 credits, a US 4x6 postcard is $1.92, a US 6x9 postcard $2.31, a US letter $2.69, and a Canada letter $3.85. A gift with a note is $3.85 plus the gift's catalog price. Handwritten pieces are genuinely written by hand, in the United States and Canada, as 4x6 postcards and letters. On Core a handwritten US 4x6 postcard is $6.54 and a handwritten US letter $11.92. On Scale monthly, $6,000 a month, a US letter is $2.10 and a handwritten US letter $9.30. A $199 pilot covers up to 100 pieces, without gifts. Every price is on [pricing](https://trysincerely.com/pricing).

A US letter from Sincerely on Core costs more than twice Stannp's Starter price for a First-Class color letter, $2.69 against $1.23. Sincerely researches each account and writes each piece for the person. It verifies the address and measures lift against an account-level holdout. It is a per-piece product for named B2B accounts, and it costs more per piece than a print run. If you already have the list and the artwork, Stannp prints and mails it for less.
