# Landing pages

> Bring enterprise 1:1 ABM landing pages into direct mail. Give each piece a personalized hosted page or send its response link to your site.

## Where the paper becomes a click.

Standard and handwritten postcards and letters can carry a QR code and printed response link. Two choices are yours: where each send's link goes, and whose domain your workspace prints on the paper. Leaving the destination empty removes the QR block and URL line cleanly. Gift notes carry no code or link; a gift order is tracked in the Send ledger instead.

### Response path · one piece

| Step | Record |
| ------------------- | --------------------------- |
| printed on the card | acme.sincerely.link/k3f9q2p |
| scanned | thu 2:14 pm · recorded |
| served | Renewal note · v3 |
| form reply | tied to the piece |

The link identifies the piece and the intended recipient. It does not verify who opened it.

## Deep enterprise ABM, without the production burden.

At the enterprise end of ABM, one page per target account or segment is a common play, sometimes literally a “Hi, Acme” page. It works because the whole experience is shaped around one company. It is also expensive to research, write, build, and check by hand.

Sincerely makes that 1:1 strategy practical inside direct mail. Mail is its natural home: each piece already goes to a named buyer with copy written for them. The page continues the same account-specific conversation after the scan. Build and approve one reusable page, and Sincerely renders it for each recipient without asking your team to author and maintain hundreds of separate pages.

## Decision one: where does the response link go?

Each campaign or one-off send picks a destination for its scans and typed visits, and postcards and letters in the same campaign can route to different places.

- **A page Sincerely hosts.** Build the page in the same studio as the mail. It can greet the recipient by name, show their company, carry the note that was on the card, and ask for a reply with a short form. Publish one reusable page, then select it for a campaign default, a mailer design, or a one-off send. It renders for each recipient with their fields; nobody authors a separate page per contact. Visits, clicks, and submissions stay tied to the piece.
- **Your own site.** Sincerely records the visit against the piece, then forwards with a temporary redirect. The URL arrives with utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, and a stable id appended, so your analytics can segment the traffic. After the redirect, your analytics take over.

A homepage forward works and is the lightest setup. A page matched to the campaign usually converts better.

## Decision two: whose domain is printed?

Sincerely serves the link either way. This one is a workspace setting, not a campaign setting: it decides what a recipient reads on the paper and types into a browser. To serve the page itself from your own site, use the forward option above.

- **The default.** Pieces print a full link on Sincerely's app domain. Nothing to set up.
- **yourname.sincerely.link.** Claim a name in Settings and response links on new mail use a short address like acme.sincerely.link/k3f9q2p. Old links keep working if you later change the name.
- **Your own subdomain.** Paid workspaces can print a subdomain such as links.yourcompany.com. Add two DNS records, a CNAME and a TXT verification record, and Sincerely provisions the certificate and serves the pages. One domain is active per workspace, and releasing it stops printed links until the same workspace reclaims and reverifies it.

## After mailing

- **The printed link stays fixed.** Tokens and short codes freeze when a piece is prepared for print, so the path on the paper never changes. Sincerely-served names keep resolving even after a rename; only releasing your own domain can take printed links down.
- **The destination can move.** While a campaign is live or paused, you can change where future visits go. A completed campaign's routing is locked.
- **Hosted pages revise.** Edits stay in a draft until someone publishes. Published revisions serve scans, and each visit records the revision it saw.

Every visit records its source, a scan or a typed link, the action taken, and the piece it came from. Results land in [measurement](/measurement) as evidence, never dressed up as more. For setup detail, read [how personalized landing pages work](/guides/personalized-landing-pages) and [what a PURL is](/glossary/purl). The code on the paper is covered on [the QR codes page](/qr-codes).
