# Managed direct mail

## We run your direct mail. You approve every piece.

AI made words free to write and send, so a buyer's inbox fills with messages that could have gone to anyone. A printed letter costs print and postage, so senders save it for the accounts worth the effort, and the person holding it can see the effort. That is the case for direct mail in B2B. It is also why mail is hard to run well: every account has to be found, researched, written to, and checked before anything prints. Sincerely's team can do that work for you.

## Why mail

Effort is the signal now. Whether mail adds pipeline for your accounts is something to measure, so the programs we run can hold out a group of accounts that get nothing and compare.

- The inbox. Email, LinkedIn messages, and calls cost almost nothing to send, and AI now writes them at any volume. One more message is easy to ignore.
- The mailbox. A printed piece costs real money, so far less of it arrives. In JICMAIL's UK household panel for Q4 2024, 77% of mail was read, looked at, or glanced at. That measures attention at home, not a B2B response rate.

## Share your accounts, or let us find them.

If nobody on your team has the hours for a mail program, the people who build Sincerely will run it for you. Share the accounts you want to reach, or let us research your market and find them. We write and design every piece and launch only what you approve. It all happens in a workspace you own, so your team can take it over later.

- Your own workspace, with your team invited
- Your target list, or one we build for you
- Nothing mails until you say yes
- One subscription for the mail and the service

## Who does what

We do the work between a target list and a mailbox. You make the calls only you can make.

The page shows the program as two lanes across five stages: accounts (you send them, or we find them), writing (our team), approval (your team), mail (our team), and results (we report lift against the holdout, and you take the replies and meetings). Nothing mails until the approval step is done.

What our team does:

- Finds the accounts when you want us to: we research your market against your brief and bring back a list, each account with the sourced fact that makes it a fit.
- Imports the accounts you already have from your CRM or a CSV, and checks every mailing address.
- Researches each account and drafts each piece from sourced facts, with the source beside every claim.
- Lays out the designs in your brand: printed postcards and letters, notes genuinely written by hand, and gifts with a note.
- Sets up the campaign: the follow-ups, the budget, the frequency cap, and a holdout group to measure against.
- Reports the results, and says plainly when a result is not ready to read.

What you decide:

- Which accounts get mail. Send us your list, or approve the one we build.
- What you are offering them.
- Every draft and design. Your reviewers approve them in the workspace, and you can change any word.
- The launch and the spend. Both wait for you.
- The conversations the mail starts. Replies and meetings come to your team.

## How it starts

The first month runs in four steps.

1. A call. Tell us what you sell, who you want to reach, and what counts as a result. Bring the accounts you already want, or we research and find them. We quote the mail and the service on that call.
2. Your workspace. We set it up with your brand, your sender details, and your accounts. You and your reviewers get an invitation by email, and your admin accepts the terms before anything can mail.
3. The first drafts. We send the list, the drafts, and the designs for review. Change what you like, or tell us what to change.
4. Launch. Once you approve the launch, the pieces print and mail. Printed US mail reports delivery, and every other piece reports when it is fulfilled.

After the first month, the campaign keeps to the schedule you approved. As it reaches each account and each follow-up, the new draft waits in the approval queue, and your approver can read and approve a batch at once.

## Billing

One subscription, two lines, renewed monthly or annually. We quote both lines on the call, and you see each one and the total on a secure checkout page before you pay.

- The mail. Paid in credits, like any Sincerely plan. Each format takes a fixed number of credits, listed on the formats page, so you can size this half yourself. Every piece reserves its credits before it queues, so there is never an overage bill after the mail goes out.
- The service. A separate line for our team's work. It moves with how many accounts we mail, in which formats, and whether we find the accounts for you.
- Gifts. A gift also needs its catalog price, paid into the workspace's gift funds before it goes out.

## Your workspace

The workspace belongs to your company. When your team is ready to run it, we hand it to your admin. Our access becomes read-only, and then it ends. The contacts, designs, campaigns, and results stay where they are.

[Book a demo](https://trysincerely.com/contact?plan=managed) to talk it through. Rather run it yourself from the start? See [the plans](https://trysincerely.com/pricing).

## Fair questions

### How much of my team's time does it take?

The first call, and after that your approver reads drafts in the approval queue, a batch at a time, and says yes to each launch. The research, the writing, the designs, and the setup are on us.

### Do we need a target list?

No. Send the accounts you already want and we start there. If you only know the kind of company you sell to, we research the market, find accounts that fit, and send you the list to approve before anyone writes a word.

### Can we stop?

Yes. End the subscription and it does not renew. The credits you paid for stay usable until that term ends.

### Who owns the contacts and the results?

You do. They live in your workspace, and they stay there after we hand it over or the service ends.

### What does it cost?

Two numbers, both quoted on the call. The mail is paid in credits, and the formats page lists how many each format takes, so you can work out that half yourself. The service fee depends on how much of the work we do, and you see both before you pay anything.
