# Sincerely vs Postie

> Postie is built for consumer acquisition at scale. Sincerely is built for B2B revenue teams. Here is how to pick between them, with honest pricing for both.

Pick by audience, not by feature list. [Postie](https://www.postie.com) sends direct mail to consumers: it builds lookalike audiences from your customer file, retargets website visitors at their home address, and measures ROAS on high-volume drops. Sincerely sends direct mail to business buyers: it pulls accounts from Salesforce or HubSpot, writes each piece for one recipient, and measures lift against a holdout. If your mail goes to households, use Postie. If it goes to named people at target accounts, use Sincerely.

## Quick comparison

| Dimension | Postie | Sincerely |
| --------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------- |
| Who receives the mail | Consumers at home | Business buyers at work |
| Core motion | Acquisition and retargeting at scale | Outbound and ABM to target accounts |
| Audience building | Lookalikes, ML segments, site-visitor identity resolution | CRM sync, CSV, or account discovery from an ICP description |
| Copy | One creative per segment | Written per recipient from CRM context, human approved |
| Measurement | ROAS, CPA, CVR dashboards | Lift vs account-level holdouts, with confidence intervals |
| Typical volume | Tens of thousands of pieces and up | Hundreds to low thousands of pieces |
| Pricing | Not published; you talk to sales | Public, from $199 one-time |

## Where Postie is the better choice

Postie wins whenever the recipient is a consumer and the math runs on volume.

- **You sell direct to consumers.** DTC brands, subscription boxes, local services, healthcare consumer plays. Postie's whole model, from lookalikes to identity resolution, assumes a household address. Sincerely resolves business addresses and will be the wrong tool.
- **You want prospecting audiences you do not have.** Postie builds lookalike models from your customer file and finds new households that resemble it. Sincerely finds businesses that match an ideal customer profile, which is a different problem.
- **You retarget anonymous website traffic.** Postie matches site visitors to home addresses and triggers mail programmatically. Sincerely has no consumer identity graph and does not do this.
- **Your volume is large.** If a good month means 50,000 pieces, you need a platform priced and tooled for that scale. Sincerely's largest plan covers 25,000 pieces per month, and its per-recipient writing model is aimed well below that.

If you are a B2C marketer who landed here, stop reading and go talk to Postie. That is the honest answer.

## Where Sincerely wins

Sincerely wins when the recipient is a specific person at a specific company and each piece has to earn a reply.

- **Per-recipient copy.** Every piece is written for one person from CRM context and researched account facts, then approved by a human before it prints. A segment-level creative cannot mention the recipient's funding round or the deal that went dark. See [how the writing works](https://trysincerely.com/writing).
- **CRM-native audiences.** Accounts and contacts sync from [Salesforce](https://trysincerely.com/integrations/salesforce) or [HubSpot](https://trysincerely.com/integrations/hubspot), or import by CSV. Suppression is immediate and global. Business addresses are resolved, scored, and USPS-verified before anything prints.
- **Honest measurement at B2B volume.** ROAS dashboards need consumer-scale conversion counts to mean anything. At 500 pieces, you need an experiment. Sincerely locks a design at launch, holds out accounts, and reports lift with confidence intervals. When a result is not statistically ready, the readout says so. Read [how measurement works](https://trysincerely.com/measurement).
- **Agent access.** Sincerely runs as an MCP server, so an agent like Claude Code can build audiences and prepare campaigns. A human confirms anything that prints or spends money, and no setting removes that gate.

Formats today are 4x6 and 6x9 postcards and letters, printed through Lob with postage included, plus handwritten notes to US addresses, fulfilled by Handwrytten's pen robots and priced per card on your plan. Gifts appear in the product but have no live fulfillment yet, so a gift campaign will not launch.

## Pricing reality

Postie does not publish pricing. As of August 2026, [postie.com](https://www.postie.com) has no pricing page and no self-service tiers, and the site sends you to a contact form for a quote. Quotes depend on volume, so budget for a contract, not a card swipe.

Sincerely publishes everything on [the pricing page](https://trysincerely.com/pricing). A Pilot is $199 one-time for 100 pieces, all included. Monthly plans run from Core at $250 per month (150 pieces included) through Scale at $3,500 per month (3,700 included, up to 25,000). Past included pieces, a 4x6 postcard costs $1.75 on Core down to $1.00 on Scale, and letters run $2.00 down to $1.25. Address verification is included on every plan, there is no per-seat pricing, and unused pieces roll over for one extra month. New workspaces start on a free audit plan: connect your CRM, check mailability, and draft pieces before you pay anything.

## The decision rule

Ask one question: whose mailbox does this land in? A household mailbox at scale means Postie, with lookalikes, retargeting, and ROAS math built for consumers. A named buyer's desk at a target account means Sincerely, with per-recipient copy, CRM sync, and holdout-measured lift. Volume confirms the call: tens of thousands of identical pieces is Postie territory, hundreds of individually written ones is Sincerely's.

Postie mails audiences. Sincerely mails people you can name.
